Paint Party Friday - Days of the Week

Easter is long gone. Some of us are still suffering from chocolate hangovers though, and the school holidays really did put a break on getting much of anything done. The weather was poor too, which did not help. Why does it start raining the minute the kids stop school for the holidays, is one of those questions that will remain unanswered and continue to be a mystery for parents everywhere. Oh well, such is life.

The only art I managed to get done last week was a series of quick sketches in one of my journals. I did one every day and I’ve decided to post them all today.

Hope you like them.

Oh, I'd just like to apologize for the size of the images. A couple of years ago, I had several images stolen. So, to try to avoid this I tend to keep the images small these days. You can click on them though, which will make them a bit bigger.

Monday - Make Someone Smile

Tuesday - On the High Street

Wednesday - Sunset

Thursday - Kooky Kats

Friday - Things on a Beach

Thank you for visiting, and have a great weekend.

  12. Well John, I have to call you up on your phrase "the only art" ... you've done a wonderful week's worth of art and each one is gorgeous and individual. Good for you!

For shame on that art thief, it must have been very hard to take when something like that happens.

Happy PPF and it's always a pleasure to see your lovely work. Cheers!

    1. Hi, Granny Annie. Thank you for commenting. I adore cats. They are great companions; I have two. A friend pointed out to me that he had found some of my images on another site. When I took a look I couldn't believe it. It took a long time to get them removed.

  16. Love all of them, especially Tuesday and Thursday. What a bummer to have your pictures stolen. Unfortunately it's something that's rather common these days. I always make sure the pictures I put on the internet have only 72dpi, and the smallest size max. 500px. At least they can't make clear prints out of them that way. Plus of course my name on it. Although I once had someone who photoshopped my name out of it ... :-S

    1. Thank you, denthe, for your kind comment. Yes, it's a bit of a downer having images stolen. All one can do is learn the lesson and make it as difficult as possible for the thieves.
